Our foodbank is running a More Than Food programme. This means that we are providing additional support alongside emergency food, to help people address the underlying issues behind their crisis.   .

Our foodbank has specifically trained volunteers who can offer you additional help in the following areas:

  • CAB trained lady who can help with benefit and debt problems, as well as helping you to use the public CAB website to look up other problems. Liz is here every Wednesday from 12.30 – 3.30.
  • Holiday Club at Birchen Coppice School over the holidays  – supporting families at times when free school meals are not available by offering food and fun activities.
  • Signposting information and leaflets from numerous support groups who can  help,   such CAP (Churches against Poverty), Local Schools, playgroups, Age UK ,  Women’s Refuge, Solicitors, etc.  .

For more information about any of these projects please contact us.
