How to get help

Foodbank open again from August 5th on a Wednesday and Friday afternoon 12.30 -3.00 , so you need to contact a recognised referral agent, such as Job Centre, CAB, Hub, social services, NHS services, including GPs. HV. schools and nurseries, other childrens services.

Please contact a referral  agent, who will  contact us with your details.   If you have had a voucher before contacted the person who gave it to you before.

From 5th August the foodbank will be asking referral agents to give clients a voucher.  This will allow the foodbank to assist social distancing by reducing the numbers of people coming to the foodbank at the same time.  Clients will be asked to go  between 12.30  and 3.00 on a Wednesday or Friday afternoon, and will collect their  food from outside the foodbank doors.   The volunteers will all be wearing masks, and clients will be asked to come in no more than  pairs ,  and an in and out pathway will be marked  down the side of the church entrance.  We hope that clients will understand these arrangements and follow them  to help us to keep our volunteers and themselves safe and well.

In order to provide the most appropriate help for the circumstances of your situation we work with local agencies. If they feel you are struggling to put food on the table, they will contact us. . Agencies we work with include: JOB CENTRE, HUB, Citizens Advice, housing support officers, children’s centres, health visitors, Adult and childrens social services, GPs,  Medical Centres, Home Start, Nightstop, and other  locations
